Obituary
BLANCHE KATHERINE CRAWFORD POORE was born September 16th, 1931 and departed this life Saturday, February 23rd, 2008, reaching the age of 76 years. She was the daughter of the late John W. Crawford and Mary K. Dugan Crawford.
She was united in marriage to Ronald Poore, and to this union two children were born.
She is survived by two daughters: Martha Carol (Marty) Poore and Lisa Poore, both of Monticello, KY; one brother-Bill Crawford of Monticello and one sister-Becky Alexander of Fayetteville, TN; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ronald Poore, two brothers-John Brent Crawford and Col. Andrew Jackson (bka "Boodle") Crawford and three sisters-Dorothy Kline, Mary Helen Walcott and Flora Barrier.
She was a loving mother, sister, aunt, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Visitation: The family will receive friends after 5 PM on Monday, February 25th, 2008 in the chapel.
Funeral Service: The funeral service will be Tuesday, February 26th, 2008 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home.
Interment: Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
