Billy K. Morris was born May 18, 1930 and departed this life Monday, April 01, 2013 reaching the age of 82. He was the son of the late Alonzo and Edna (Crouch) Morris.

He was united in marriage to Alma "Louise" Hatfield and to this union 3 children were born.

He is survived by: 3 daughters, Karen Staley, Brenda Smith, and Donna Morris; 6 grandchildren, Katrina Troxell, Mark Smith, Jason Frye, Jessica Weaver, Michelle Stinson, and Jacob Bell; 8 great grandchildren, James Troxell, Sarah Troxell, Madison Smith, Jaxon Frye, Gage Weaver, Sadie Stinson, Chloe Smith, and Josselyn Weaver. He is also survived by: 1 sister, Norma Alley; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Alonzo and Edna Morris; he was preceded in death by: his wife, Louise Morris; 3 brothers, Roy, Ralph, and Bobby Morris; and 1 sister, Mildred Ramsey.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 from 5 – 9 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at 11 am at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Marcum officiating. Burial will be in Elk Spring Cemetery.
