Obituary
Billy Kay Hicks was born November 25, 1953 and departed this life Saturday, Octobe 27, 2012 reaching the age of 58. He was the son of the late Elmer and Josephine (Adkins) Hicks.
He is survived by: his wife, Brenda Hicks of Monticello, KY; and 2 daughters, Chastity (Kevin) Dishman and Erica (Chris) Guffey both of Monticello, KY; and 4 grandchildren, Courtney Dishman, MacKenzie Guffey, Molly Dishman, and Phoenix Guffey; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.
In addition to his parents, Elmer and Josephine Hicks, he was preceded in death by: 1 brother, Jimmy Ray Hicks; and 2 sisters, Barbara Chaplin and Sandra Chaplin.
The family will receive friends on Monday, October 29, 2012 from 5 – 9 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home with Bro. Darrell Ragan and Bro. Bob Duranceau officiating. Burial will be in Elk Spring Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to:
Church of the Nazarene Children and Teen's Program
