Billie Ann Ballou was born September 4, 1933 and departed this life Wednesday, January 9, 2019 reaching the age of 85 years. She was the daughter of the late Hazel Curtis and Vera (Dolen) Brown.

She is survived by: her daughter, Kim Simons; and granddaughter, Mackenzie Lyle Simons; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Hazel and Vera Brown, she was preceded in death by: her husband in which she was a devoted wife to for almost 50 years, Lyle Ballou; also one brother, Fred Norman Brown; and beloved nephew- Todd Brown.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 12, 2019 between 12 pm – 2 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held January 12, 2019 at 2 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
