Bill "David" Vaughn was born November 6, 1951, and departed this life Thursday, March 27, 2025, reaching the age of 73 years. He was the son of the late James "Earl" and Sophia "Sophie" Mae Vaughn.

He married Cora "Faye" Tucker and to this union two children were born.

Along with his wife, Faye, he is survived by: one son, Jamie Vaughn (Melinda); three grandchildren, Anthony Hutchinson, Kaitlyn Dobbs (Tyler) and Hannah Dunagan (Chris).  He is also survived by:  two brothers, Ralph and Jessie Vaughn; and two sisters, Katie Taylor and Georgia Martin; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: one son, Christopher Vaughn; one brother, Stanley Vaughn; and two sisters, Sally and Ella "Eve" Vaughn.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 28, 2025, between 5 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 29, 2025, at 11 am at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Cedar Grove Cemetery.
