Bill Taylor was born June 7, 1953 and departed this life Saturday, August 10, 2013 reaching the age of 60. He was the son of the late Sam and Lurie (Flynn) Taylor.

He was united in marriage to Vickie Taylor and to this union 2 children were born.

He is survived by: his wife, Vickie Taylor; 1 son, Britt Taylor; 1 daughter, Dana Kempton; and 1 grandchild, Taylor Kempton. He is also survived by: 3 brothers, Carl Upchurch, Larry Dean Taylor, and James Alvin Taylor; and 2 sisters, Lois Cantrell and Linda Withers; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Sam and Lurie Taylor, he was preceded in death by: his sister, Sandra Brown.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 from 5 – 9 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 15, 2013 at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home with Bro. Darrell Ragan officiating. Burial will be in Davis Chapel Cemetery.
