Beverly Dabney Dobbs Thompson was born March 19, 1934, and departed this life Wednesday, April 12, 2023, reaching the age of 89 years. She was the daughter of the late William Glendon and Nona Elvena (Frost) Dabney.

She is survived by: 5 children, Stephen W. Dobbs, Charmaine Catron, Randy Elam, Gail Dishman, and John L. Dobbs; 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and 8 great-great grandchildren with 1 on the way.

She is also survived by:  2 brothers, Royce Dabney and Gary Dabney; and 5 sisters, Joyce Harris, Gloria Gibson, Janie Perkins, Marlene Bass, and Jackie Harmon; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Glendon and Nona Dabney, she was preceded in death by: her 1 ^st husband, Glenn E. Dobbs and her 2 ^nd husband, Curtis Thompson; and one sister, Lorene Cole; and one grandson, Brian Catron.

The family will receive friends on Friday, April 21, 2023, between 12 pm - 6 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Friday, April 21, 2023, at 6 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside service will be held Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 10 a.m. at the Elk Spring Cemetery Shelter.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy make take the form of donations to Spann Hill Baptist Church.
