Betty Jean Stonecipher was born October 22, 1930 and departed this life Wednesday, July 27, 2022 reaching the age of 91 years. She was the daughter of the late Colonel and Ethel (Coffey) Edwards.

She is survived by: her son, James Michael (Hattie) Stonecipher; three grandchildren, Michael, Samuel and Mollie Stonecipher; and one great grandchild, Elliot Ray Stonecipher; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Ray Stonecipher; and one sister, Hazel Irene Hicks.

She was a member of the Fall Creek Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 between 11 am – 12 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at 12 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
