Betty Sue Denney was born November 29, 1946 and departed this life Monday, June 1, 2020 reaching the age of 73 years. She was the daughter of the late Clevie and Lucille (Jenkins) Bell.

She married Dyane Denney and to this union two children were born.  He preceded her in death.

She is survived by:  one daughter, Shannon (Jeff) Sams; one son, Steve (Inez) Denney; one brother, Bro. Danny (Joyce) Bell; four grandchildren; and four great grandchildren; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 4, 2020 between 12 pm – 3 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 4, 2020 at 3 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Davis Chapel Cemetery.
