Obituary
Betty Lou Daffron was born June 19, 1933 and departed this life Thursday, January 31, 2013 reaching the age of 79. She was the daughter of the late Will and Stella (Morris) Doss.
She was united in marriage to Henry Cleveland Daffron and to this union 2 children were born.
She is survived by: her daughter, Debra (Scott) Prewitt of Cincinnati, OH; her son, David Daffron of New Castle, IN; 3 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren. She is also survived by: 1 brother, Ralph Doss of Greenfield, IN; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.
In addition to her parents, Will and Stella Doss, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Henry Daffron; 1 grandchild, Amanda Prewitt; 5 brothers, Louis, Sydney, Milton, Kenneth and Jackie Doss; and 2 sisters, Edith Smith and Judy Patrick
The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 3, 2013 from 5 – 9 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 4, 2013 at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home with Bro. Kelvin Upchurch officiating. Burial will be in Elk Spring Cemetery.
