Betty Louise Burnett was born January 28, 1948 and departed this life January 5, 2015 reaching the age of 66 years. She was the daughter of the late Virgil and Opal Lee (Branscum) Denney.

She married Lyle Burnett and to this union one child was born.

She is survived by: her daughter, Amy Vasquez; four grandchildren, Laura, Amie, Larissa, and Addison Vasquez. She is also survived by: two brothers, Donald and Boyce Denney; and one sister, Cloteen (Herstel) Clark; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Virgil and Opal Denney, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Lyle Burnett; one brother, Mitchell Denney; and two sisters, Sandra Carrie and Jeanette Denney.

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 9, 2015 after 5pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 1pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
