Betty Burks was born July 9, 1947 and departed this life Sunday, September 21, 2008 reaching the age of 61 years. She was the daughter of Maude (Steel) Burks and the late Robert Burks.
She is survived by: her mother- Maude Burks of Monticello, KY, 1 brother- Roger Burks of Monticello, KY; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by: her father- Robert Burks.
She was a loving daughter, sister, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Visitation: Tuesday, September 23rd after 5 pm
Funeral Service: Wednesday, September 24th at 11 am
Interment: Elk Spring Cemetery
