Betty Jean Bell was born February 12, 1937 and departed this life Friday, October 8, 2021 reaching the age of 84 years. She was the daughter of the late Rhodes and Ethel (Jenkins) Bell.

She is survived by: her son, Jason (Misha) Bell; two grandchildren, Lilly and Charlie Bell. She is also survived by one brother, Raymond Bell; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: two brothers, Jessie and Cecil Bell; five sisters, Fronie Troxell, Stella Waters, Margret Bass, Marie Bell, and Lillian Sligle.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 between 11 am – 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
