Obituary

Bethany Diane Parmley Rose was born on a Thursday, February 13, 1986 at the Somerset Humana Hospital in Somerset. She was one of three children born to Rook & Diane (Foster) Parmley. She went home to be with her Lord on Friday morning, June 24, 2016 reaching the age of 30 years.

In addition to her parents, Rook and Diane Parmley, she is survived by:
her husband, Phillip Rose;
her children, Cadyn, Riley, Colton, Hagan, and Shady Rose;
1 brother, Kyle Parmley;
1 sister, Ashely Taylor (husband Robert);
and Maternal grandparents, Bob & Lois Foster.

She is preceded in death by: her paternal grandparents, Oliver & Lida Parmley

Bethany and her husband Phillip were faithful members of Faith United Baptist Church where she dedicated her life and was baptized at a young age. She was a steadfast Christian and believed in the power of God and prayer. Even in illness, she was known to sign herself out of the hospital so she could attend her church's worship service.

She was a woman of many talents and skills. She was crafty and was by some called a "fashionista". To her, she was capable of anything.

Her work experience included several things. She was at one point a C.N.A., a receptionist, a cashier, and even worked for the local paper.

She had a fierce love for her husband, children, and family. For those who knew her best she was known to be "strong willed", "stubborn", and "her way was the way" type. She was a fighter through all of her troubles and illness, and was quoted often as saying…." I won't be a statistic" …. or…." Don't stop living because you're sick".

Bethany was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Monday, June 27, 2016 after 5pm in the chapel of the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at 2pm in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
