Obituary
Bessie Ann Huffaker was born October 31, 1917 and departed this life Tuesday, February 05, 2008 reaching the age of 90 years. She was the daughter of the late John Mitchell and Matilda (Covey) Mitchell.
She married Guy Huffaker And to this union two children were born.
She is survived by: two daughters- Mary Jane Huffaker of Monticello, KY and Linda Abbott of Woodstock, GA, two grandchildren- Justin Abbott and Dr. Cynthia Abbott Thomasson both of Atlanta, GA, and four great grandchildren, Ian, Abby, Colin, and And Drew Thomasson; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by: one brother, Luther Mitchell.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Visitation: Friday, February 8th between 5 - 8 pm and Saturday, February 9th between 8 - 12 at the funeral home chapel. Then the body will lie in state at the Monticello United Methodist Church from 12 the funeral hour of 2 pm
Funeral Service: Saturday, February 9th at 2 pm
Interment: Elk Spring Cemetery
