Bessie Cook was born October 23, 1938 and departed this life Sunday , May 24 , 2020 reaching the age of 81 years. Sh e was the daughter of the l ate Charlie and Lila (Pyles) Hicks .

Sh e is survived by: one brother, David Hicks; and one sister, Allene Prater; numerous nieces and nephews; along with a host of family and friends wh o mourn her passing.

In addition to h er parents, Charlie and Lila Hicks , s h e was preceded in death by: h er husband, Logan Cook; two brothers, Clinton Hicks and Danny Odell Hicks; and one sister, Dessie Lorene Riddle.
