Obituary
BERTHA PYLES was born July 25, 1918 and departed this life April 30, 2007 reaching the age of 88 years. She was the daughter of the late Tom Goodman and Laura Wright Goodman.
She married Charlie Pyles and to this union eight children were born.
She is survived by: threes sons, Homer and Conley Pyles both of Monticello, KY and Donald Pyles of Somerset, KY; four daughter, Evelyn Stinson, Betty Conn, Ruth Castle, and Kathy Piercy all of Monticello, KY. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 1 step grandchild; 20 great grandchildren; 10 step grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Pyles; one son, Hobart Pyles; and her parents, Tom and Laura Goodman.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Visitation: Wednesday, May 2nd after 5 pm
Funeral Service: Thursday, May 3rd at 1 pm
Interment: Elk Spring Cemetery
