Obituary
Benton Rigney was born July 28, 1942 and departed this life Tuesday, August 7, 2012 reaching the age of 70. He was the son of the late Claude and Daisy (Brown) Rigney.
He is survived by: his wife, Inisa Rigney of Monticello, KY; 1 son, Rick Rigney of Munfordville, KY; 2 grandchildren, Richard Rigney and Rebecca Reynolds; and 2 great grandchildren, Isaac James Rigney and Carma Grace Reynolds; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.
In addition to his parents, Claude and Daisy Rigney, he was preceded in death by: 1 brother, Willie Rigney; and 1 sister, Ruby Hicks.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 9, 2012 from 5 – 9 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 10, 2012 at 1 pm at the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home with Bro. Corb Hicks and Bro. Keith McKim officiating. Burial will be in the Gap Creek Cemetery.
