Benny Morris was born March 14, 1957 and departed this life Monday, April 15, 2019 reaching the age of 62 years. He was the son of the late Earl and Myrtie Lee (Brown) Morris.

He is survived by: his wife, Donna Morris; three sons, Matthew Crabtree, Joshua Mormino and Christopher Mormino; one daughter, Natalie Mormino; and grandchildren, Tyler Crabtree, Sophie Crabtree, Jayden Crabtree, Peyton Crabtree, William Chaplin, Shawn Abbott, Nicole Abbott, Haylie Burris, Jacob Smith, and Cobain McGuire.  He is also survived by:  brothers, Leonard, Eddie, and Ronnie Morris; and sisters, Pauline Troxell, Brenda Morris, Earlene Talbert, and Lola Brummett; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Earl and Myrtie Morris, he was preceded in death by: his son, James Waylon Crabtree; and two brothers, Everette and Jerry Wayne Morris.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 between 5 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 18, 2019 at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Hilltop Cemetery.
