Belva Kathryn "Kate" Ramsey was born September 7, 1919 and departed this life Monday, February 16, 2009 reaching the age of 89 years. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Belva (Lester) Asberry.

She is survived by: 4 sons- Bro. Koger, Kenneth, and Kelly Ramsey all of Monticello, KY, and Keith Ramsey of Sellersburg, IN, 1 daughter- Karen Parmley of Monticello, KY, 11 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren. She is also survived by a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents- Frank and Belva, she was preceded in death by: her husband- James Richard Ramsey, 1 brother- Lloyd Asberry, 2 sisters- Nora Rolfe and Maggie Schneider, and 1 great grandchild- Ariel Denise Parmley.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Visitation: Wednesday, February 18th after 5 pm
Funeral Service: Thursday, February 19th at 10 am
Interment: Elk Spring Cemetery
