Obituary
Beatrice Brown was born April 30, 1928 and departed this life Sunday, December 19, 2010 reaching the age of 82. She was the daughter of the late Hulan and Becky (Brown) Stringer.
She was united in marriage to Charlie "Doodle" Brown and to this union 7 children were born.
She is survived by: 4 sons, Charlie "Junior" Brown, Larry Gene Brown, Darrell Lee Brown, and Forrest Gene Brown; 3 daughters, Myrtle Ann Riggs, Wilma Lee Lowe, and Barbara Ellen Brown; 8 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.
In addition to her parents, Hulan and Becky Stinger, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Charlie Brown; 2 brothers, Paul Randall and Franklin "Dee" Brown; 1 sister, Kathryn Rigney Shelton; and 1 grandchild.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 23, 2010 from 10 – 2 in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 23, 2010 at 2 pm at the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Hollars officiating. Burial will be in Elk Spring Cemetery.
