Barry Ray Crabtree was born July 30, 1965, and departed this life Thursday, February 12, 2026, reaching the age of 60 years. He was the son of the late Neal and Vina Margaret (Meredith) Crabtree.

He is survived by: his brothers, Cecil, Bobby Kay, and Carter Crabtree; and sisters, Sophia Mason, Phyllis Mae Foster, Barbara Jean Rigney, and Mary Frances Bates; several nieces and nephews and other family members who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Neal and Vina Crabtree, he was preceded in death by: his brothers, Nealy Odell, Randall Bruce, and Colonel William Crabtree; and sisters, Joyce Ann Crabtree, Charlene Crabtree, and Bertha Ellen Troxell.

He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 15, 2026, between 5 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Monday, February 16, 2026, at 12 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Crabtree Cemetery.
