Barbara June Shook was born August 9, 1935, and departed this life Thursday, November 14, 2024, reaching the age of 89 years. She was the daughter of the late Floyd and Ethel (Beavers) Gilbert.

She is survived by: one son, Brian Joseph Shook (Angela); two daughters, Diane Goff (Russ) and Carla Rivera (Roldana); seven grandchildren, Rochell Goff, Christopher Goff (Kelly), Matthew Goff, Roldano Rivera (Gabby Rowland), Sonia Rivera (Shawn Stadelman), Kasey Shook and Khloe Shook; and four great grandchildren, Xavier Goff, Knox Goff, Scarlett Goff, and Silas Stadelman-Rivera; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Floyd and Ethel Gilbert, she was preceded in death by husband, Paul Shook.

She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, between 12 pm – 1 pm (EST) at Fredonia Cemetery.  Graveside and interment services will be held Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at 1 pm (EST) at the Fredonia Cemetery in Princeton, KY.
