Barbara Morris-Johnson was born February 24, 1940 and departed this life Thursday, May 21, 2015 reaching the age of 75 years. She was the daughter of the late Virgil and Dorothy (Savage) Morris.

She is survived by: her husband, Paul Johnson of Science Hill, KY; three sons, Paul Johnson, Jr. of Lexington, KY, Stacey Johnson of Covington, KY and Mark Johnson of Erlanger, KY; one daughter, Debbie Burlew of Hebron, KY; and one grandchild, David "DJ" Gifford. She is also survived by: two brothers, Billy and Freddie Morris both of Monticello, KY; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Virgil and Dorothy Morris, she was preceded in death by: one brother, Howard "Cobbie" Morris, Jr.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 after 5 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at10 am at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Veterans Cemetery in Williamstown, KY on Thursday, May 28th at 2 pm.
