Barbara Morgan was born May 3, 1947 and departed this life Wednesday, December 23, 2020 reaching the age of 73 years. She was the daughter of the late Lincoln and Pearlie Belle (Rigney) Jenkins.

She is survived by:  one daughter, Tammy Crabtree (Gerald); three sons, Joel Young (Christina), Scottie Eugene Young, and Joe Young, Sr.; 13 grandchildren; and one great grandchild on the way.  She is also survived by:  one brother, David Jenkins; three sisters, Linda Bell, Nancy Matthews, and Collene Jenkins; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Lincoln and Pearlie Jenkins, she was preceded in death by: one son, Darrell Jenkins; one brother, Wallace Jenkins; and five sisters, Shirley Jenkins, Hilma Parmley, Betty Geneva Jenkins, Marie Jenkins and Mary Jones.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 between 5 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 11 am at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.

Due to the current COVID-19 situation and upon recommendations from the Governor's Office for Funeral Homes, there will be some restrictions for service attendance. You are asked to please wear a mask or facial covering and observe the social distancing guidelines. No communal food or drinks are allowed at this time.
