Barbara Alley was born January 5, 1940, and departed this life Thursday, July 27, 2023, reaching the age of 83 years. She was the daughter of the late John and Lena (Chriswell) Stephens.

She is survived by: her son, Jeff Alley (Pat); one granddaughter, Taylor Troxell; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, John and Lena Stephens, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Lonnie Earl Alley; one brother, Joseph Stephens; and four sisters, Beatrice Koontz, Theila Crawford, Doris Tucker, and Abbie Davidson.

Barbara was a woman of strong faith who loved the Lord. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and a wonderful friend. Her laughter was contagious, and she made the world a brighter place. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at 11 am at the Elk Spring Cemetery Shelter with burial to follow.
