Aubrey Wayne Hodges was born January 3, 1939 and departed this life Sunday, September 8, 2019 reaching the age of 80 years. He was the son of the late Astor and Jewel (Pike) Hodges.

He is survived by: his wife, Sue (McClellan) Williams Hodges; children, Geoffrey Hodges (Mary), Melody Smith (Danny), Trisha Hodges (Laura); stepchildren, Kenny DeBoe and Kimberly Simon (Stephen); daughter-in-law, LaShel Hodges; grandchildren:, JoAnna Smith, Harold Smith (Kim), Mathew Smith (Keisha), Sierra Naylor (Tyler), Seth Hodges (Molly), TaSheena Dolen (Eric), Jackson Simon; great Grandchildren, Carter Smith, Evan Smith, Erionna Smith, Eli Smith, Zackery Smith, Maggie Smith, Ainslee Dolen, Taryn Dolen, Kellyn Dolen, Dax Naylor, and Everly Naylor.  He is also survived by: siblings, Hayden Hodges (Sue), Joy Mae Brooks, Ruth Scott, and Astor Hodges, Jr.; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: one son, Mark Hodges; one brother, James Hodges; and two sisters, Linda Hodges and Charlotte Hodges.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 between 11 am – 1 pm at Mt. Zion Baptist Church.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at 1 pm at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
