Obituary

Aubra Jean Bell was born March 25, 1943 and departed this life Thursday, January 27, 2022 reaching the age of 78 years. She was the daughter of the late John and Opal (Blevins) Riddle.

She is survived by: her children, Terry (Lora) Bell, Teressa Jones, Koe (Kam) Bell; grandchildren, Travis (Amber), Kyle (Mariah), Jacob, & Kaitlyn Bell, Kortney (Chase) Spencer, Amanda (Dustin) Mann, and Amber Jones; great grandchildren, David Aaron, Graclee, & Aubree Mann, Emery Sherman, Wilder, Huck, Heidi Bell, Hudson Aaron Troxell, Bryson Decker, Dawson Leffew, and Zoey Faith Spencer arriving in February.

Aubra is also survived by two sisters, Lois Turner and Jo Parmley; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Opal Riddle; son-in-law, David Jones; and one grandchild, Kody Aaron Bell.

Aubra served as an Office Deputy for the Wayne County Sheriff's Department from 1986 to 2006 before retiring. She was an Eastern Star member and a Kentucky Colonel.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 30, 2022 between 10 am – 2 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. There will be an Eastern Star service at 9 am.  Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 30, 2022 at 2 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Blevins Cemetery.
