Arvine Donald Brown was born March 4, 1944, and departed this life January 24, 2023, reaching the age of 78 years. He was the son of the late Millard and Anna Lee (Long) Brown.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Audrey Gregory Brown; two daughters Cassie Brown and Connie Jackson; two grandchildren, Shawn Jackson and Sydney Duty (Garrett); a great grandson Jackson Duty and  a great granddaughter Jaci Duty who is expected in June.  He is also survived by: two brothers, Kenny Brown of Monticello, Ky and Benny Brown of Kokomo, IN. and two sisters, Beverly Slagle of New Castle, IN and Mary Hughes of Manchester, Tennessee. along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Millard and Anna Lee Brown, he was preceded in death by: two brothers, Charles Lucas and Ronnie Lucas; and one sister, Alice Stockton.

The family will receive friends between 6pm - 8pm on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be at 2 pm on Sunday, January 29, 2023 in the chapel of the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Lockett's Chapel Cemetery.
