Artemus Stephens was born June 18, 1974, and departed this life July 29, 2024, reaching the age of 50 years. He was the son of Gary Stephens and Janet (Corder) Stephens.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by: his wife, Angelica (Wilson) Stephens; one son, Michael Dixon; three daughters, Keela Fuson (Kurtis), Alexis Dixon, and Hunter Rohan (Thomas); and eight 8 grandchildren, Konner Fuson, Adam Fuson, Mercy Fuson, Maverick Fuson, Zaiden Dishman, Daisey Dishman, Wyatt Watkins, and Scarlett Rohan. He is also survived by:  one brother, Jeremiah Stephens (Angela); and two sisters, Wendy Norfleet (Garry) and Jessica Wallen (Chris); along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 1, 2024, between 5 pm – 8 pm and Friday, August 2, 2024, between 11 am – 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Friday, August 2, 2024, at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
