Obituary
A.R. "Roscoe" Crabtree was born July 29th, 1919 in Monticello, KY and departed this life Friday, February 13th, 2003, reaching the age of 83 years. He was the son of Mitt Crabtree and Elsie Myrtie Richardson Crabtree.
He was united in marriage to Nova Anderson Crabtree and to this union four children were born.
He is survived by his wife Nova, two sons-Ray Crabtree of Louisville, KY and Max Crabtree of Monticello, KY, and two daughters-Eula Morris and Sheila Abbott, both of Monticello, KY.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers-Menvil and Willie Crabtree, one sister-Irene Gregory and two great grandchildren-Lacy Nichol and Stacy Lynn Bryant.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation: The family will receive friends after 5 PM on Saturday, February 15th, 2003 in the chapel.
Funeral Service: The funeral service will be Sunday, February 16th, 2003 at 2 PM in the chapel of the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home.
Interment: Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
