Anna Mae Cooper was born December 6, 1957 and departed this life Monday, April 18, 2022 reaching the age of 64 years. She was the daughter of the late Marion Francis and Ona Mae (Dishman) Brown.

She is survived by: two daughters, Valerie Cooper and Ashley Cooper; eight grandchildren, Destiney, Taylor, Annamarie, River, Nevaeh, Savannah, Adrian, and Skyler; and two sisters, Barbara Faye Hicks and Linda Gay Hancock; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Marion and Ona Mae Brown, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Billie Cooper; and two brothers, Robert Ray and Danny Kay Brown.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 23, 2022 between 11 am – 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Hilltop Cemetery
