Obituary
Anna Ruth Chesney Slater was born September 27, 1925 and departed this life Sunday, November 30, 2008 reaching the age of 83 years. She was the daughter of the late Joshua Kindrick Chesney and Flora Ramsey Chesney.
She is survived by: 1 sister- Mary Taylor of Monticello, KY, 4 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.
In addition to her parents- Joshua and Flora Chesney, she was preceded in death by: her husband- James, 1 son- David, 1 daughter- Ann Fox, 3 brothers- Cicero, Jess, and Jim Chesney.
She was a loving sister, grandmother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Visitation: Monday, December 1st between 5 - 8 pm
Funeral Service: Tuesday, December 2nd at 10 am - First Christian Church
Interment: Elk Spring Cemetery
