Anita Ruth Penticuff was born June 24, 1942, and departed this life Friday, June 30, 2023, reaching the age of 81 years. She was the daughter of the late Obie and Bessie (Sexton) Penticuff.

She is survived by: several nieces and nephews; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Obie and Bessie Penticuff, she was preceded in death by: two brothers, Carl Ray and Earnest Jimmy Penticuff; and three sisters, Grace Daniel, Edna Mae Dobbs and Mary Piercy.

The family will receive friends on Monday, July10, 2023, between 11 am – 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Monday, July 10, 2023, at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Old Charity Cemetery.
