Anita Cecilia Crabtree was born December 18, 1943, and departed this life Wednesday, February 5, 2025, reaching the age of 81 years. She was the daughter of the late Austin and Myrtie Ann (Crabtree) Doss.

She is survived by: her husband, Henry Crabtree; one daughter, Debbie Mann; two sons, Henry Ray Crabtree and Johnny Wayne Crabtree (Lilli); six grandchildren, John Travis Crabtree (Kayla), Diana Bunch, Lynsey Crabtree, Emily Crabtree, Chloe Crabtree, and Dustin Mann (Amanda); and seven great-grandchildren, Allie Bunch, Keiran Bunch, Aaron Mann, Graclee Mann, Aubree Mann, Conner Crabtree, and Jason Crabtree; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Austin and Myrtie Doss, she was preceded in death by: one brother, Harvey Lee Doss; her grandparents, Walter Crabtree "Pappy" and Bertha (Ball) Crabtree "Mammy"; and her son-in-law, Ronnie "Bo" Decker.

She was baptized into Christ in 1970 by Bro. Anson Perkins. She was a member of Sandusky Chapel where she attended for a number of years.

Anita enjoyed reading, crocheting, gardening, singing and dancing and being with her family.  She was a homemaker, a devoted wife and mother, a loving grandmother and great grandmother. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 7, 2025, between 11 am – 12 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Friday, February 7, 2025, at 12 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
