Obituary
Anita Ann Coomer was born June 6, 1960 and departed this life on Sunday, February 23, 2014 having reached the age of 53 years. She was the daughter of the late Carlus Vernon and Mildred Lee (Denney) Coomer.
She is survived by: 1 son, David Coomer (wife Ana); 1 daughter, Laura Gregory; 1 granddaughter, Emilyne Gregory; 3 brothers, Pete, Joe, and Don Coomer; 4 sisters, Verna Ott, Sheila Burge, Peggy Baker, and Denise Smith; and her overly protective cat, Tee Tee; as well as a host of family and friends that mourn her passing.
She is preceded in death by: her parents, Carlus Vernon & Mildred Lee Coomer; and 1 brother, Mike Coomer.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 from 2-7 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 7pm in the chapel of the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home.
The family has request that expressions of sympathy take the form of Donations to "Mountain Mom's" c/o of the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home.
A special Thank You goes out to Hospice of Lake Cumberland and the Jean Waddle Care Center.
