Amos Curtis
Bell
April 24, 1941 – June 4, 2025
Amos Curtis Bell was born April 24, 1941, and departed this life Wednesday, June 4, 2025, reaching the age of 84 years. He was the son of the late Andy and Anna (Gregory) Bell.
He is survived by: his wife, Doris Bell; one son, Jarrod Bell (Shauna); and one stepdaughter, Melanie Rick and Payton; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.
In addition to his parents, Andy and Anna Bell of Rocky Branch community, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Bro. Rondal Bell, Kermit H. Bell, and Eugene Bell.
He was a hardworking man who always worked for the benefit of others and rarely thought of himself. In his long career working heavy construction, with his little dog Bella at his side in the later years, he helped build infrastructure with W. Rogers Co. to the benefit of thousands of people with projects like the Kentucky Horse Park, and water quality plants in multiple states of which there are to many to list. Cities like Lexington, Louisville, Winchester, Nicholasville, Johnson City, and many, many others are better places to live because of him.
He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
