Obituary
America "Merky" Reynolds was born June 11, 1912 and departed this life December 15, 2003 reaching the age of 91. She was the daughter of Shelby Lewis Winchester and Florence Brewster Winchester.
She was united in marriage to Ed Lewis Reynolds, Sr and to this union two children were born.
She is survived by one son – Ed Lewis Reynolds, Jr. of Monticello, KY and one sister – Adell Hucaby of New Castle, IN, 2 grandchildren – Donald Kelly Burris and Ed Reynolds, III, along with a host of relatives and friends who mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by her husband - Ed, one daughter – Dorothy Jean, her parents – Shelby and Florence Winchester, four brothers – Elijah, Luther, James, and Clay Winchester, and four sisters – Maggie Black, Dorothy Correll, Helen Lair, and Willie Mae Perkins.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, relative, and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Visitation: Wednesday, December 17 after 5 PM
Funeral Service: Thursday, December 18 at 1 PM
Interment: Elk Spring Cemetery
