Alma Marie "Reedie" (Inman) McGuire was born August 15, 1950, in Parnell, KY and departed this life Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Ky. reaching the age of 73 years. She was the daughter of the late Lillie Parmley McQueen and Frank Inman.

Marie married the late Jackie Ray McGuire on October 8, 1965 in Fentress, TN.  Marie was married 50 years to her true love until his death on March 5, 2016 and to this union 3 children, 2 sons and 1 daughter was born.

She is survived by one son, Clifford Ray McGuire; 8 grandchildren, Bradford Southwood, Dustin Southwood, Eric McGuire, Colton McGuire, Jacquline McGuire, Austin McGuire, Ashlee Duff, and Sheyanne Dykes; several great-grandchildren; along with one special great-grandchild Xavier Southwood.

Marie was also survived by one brother, Leroy (Jane) Stephenson of Evington, VA; one sister, Loretta (Jose) Guerrero of Pontiac, IL and many nieces, nephew, and friends whom loved her very much and mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Anna Mae (McGuire) Southwood Harlan; one son, Jeffery Wayne "Jeff" McGuire; one granddaughter, Jessica Lynn McGuire, one sister, Katherine Stephenson Conn; two brothers, Boyd Parmley and William "Bill" Inman; three sisters-in-law, Eva Stephenson, Rebecca "Sue" Parmley and Thelma Parmley Jackson; and one brother-in-law, Ray Conn.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 20, 2023 between 6 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Monday, August 21, 2023 at 11 am at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
