Allie Gay "Roxie" White Brown Massengale, was born November 24, 1934, reaching the age of 68 years. She was the daughter of John Shard White and Leva Bowlin White, and she departed this life on July 12, 2003.

She was united in marriage to Thomas C. Brown on August 31, 1957 and he preceded her in death, on September 14, 1996.

On October 28, 1997, she was united in marriage to Nelson Logan Massengale who also preceded her in death on June 4, 2003.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, one brother, James Arnold White, three sisters: Georgia Elizabeth South, Marie Dobbs, and Nelldane Arant.

She is survived by two sisters, Irene King of Indianapolis, IN and Mary Burke of Monticello, KY, three step children: Nancy Bell of Monticello, KY, Jeffrey Nelson Massengale and Gregory Allen Massengale of Indianapolis, IN. Five step grandchildren: Christy Stockton, Ryan and Brett Massengale, Megan and Taylor Massengale, and one step great grandchild: Cassie Ann Stockton, along with numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

She was a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church and attended church at Eller's Chapel Methodist in Monticello, KY.

She was a loving wife, sister, aunt, step-mother, step grandmother and a friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Funeral Service: Tuesday, July 15, Graveside Service at 11:00 a.m.
Interment: Elk Spring Cemetery
