Alice Carroll was born December 24, 1959 and departed this life Thursday, January 17, 2019 reaching the age of 59 years. She was the daughter of the late Earl Cecil Brown and Ella Mae Crabtree.

She is survived by: her husband, Herbert "Osby" Carroll; 1 brother, Earl Brown; 1 sister, Donna Sue Abner; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: 3 brothers, Willie Crabtree, Lester Crabtree and Charles Robert Brown; 3 sisters, Pearl Foster, Kathryn Crabtree and Opal Davis.

She was a loving wife, sister, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 20, 2019 after 5 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 21, 2019 at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
