Albert Tigar was born December 10th, 1915 in Bloomsbury, New Jersey and departed this life Monday, December 23rd, 2002, reaching the age of 87 years. He was the son of Elwood Tigar and Myrtle Cronce Tigar.
He is survived by his wife Judy Parmley Tigar, one son-Ronald Tigar of Bethelehem, PA and two grandchildren-Melissa and Jamie Tigar of Allentown, PA. He is survived by one brother-George Strahler of Easton, PA, and three sisters-Ruth Bourguignon and Millie Zeitner of Bethlehem, PA and Winnie Michel of Gnadenhutten, Ohio, along with several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one son-Elwood Tigar.
He served his country bravely during World War II as a member of the United States Armed Forces.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, relative and friend and will be sadly missed by all who knew him
Visitation: The family will receive friends after 5 PM on Thursday, December 26th, 2002 in the chapel.
Funeral Service: The funeral service will be Friday, December 27th at 10 AM in the chapel of the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home.
Interment: Burial will follow in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
