Albert Frank Taylor was born October 19th, 1922 in Mintonville, KY and departed this life Friday, January 10th, 2003, reaching the age of 80 years. He was the son of Roscoe Conklin "R.C." Taylor and Ruby Hines Taylor.
He is survived by his wife Lois Perdue Taylor, one sister-Mildred Tuttle of Monticello, KY and two brothers-Jack Taylor of Somerfield, Florida and Bill Taylor of Monticello, KY, along with several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters-Joanne Bertram and Jane Edwards.
He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and was an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Monticello.
He served his country faithfully during World War II, as a member of the United States Armed Forces stationed in Europe.
He was a loving husband, brother, uncle and friend and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Frank Taylor Memorial Fund c/o First United Methodist Church in Monticello.
Visitation: The family will receive friends after 3 PM on Sunday, January 12th in the chapel of the funeral home. The body will be taken to the First United Methodist Church Monday morning to lie in state from 8 AM until the funeral hour at 1 PM.
Funeral Service: The funeral service will be Monday, January 13th at 1 PM at the First United Methodist Church with Bro. Terry Vickous and Bro. Carlos Coop officiating.
Interment: Burial will follow in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
