Alan "Dale" Stearns was born January 28, 1945 and departed this life Friday, June 10, 2022 reaching the age of 77 years. He was the son of the late Mary Ann Stearns.

He is survived by: his children, Debra Haas (Joshua) and Charles Stearns (Tina); and three grandchildren, Kali Dale Wheeler, Kasey Joe Wheeler, and Jacob Allen Stearns; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

Dale did it his way.  He lived life to the fullest.  Dale always had a smile on his face.  He loved his family and grandchildren.   Dale owned a drywall business most of his life in Indiana.   His hobbies were fishing, hunting, gambling and he loved the ladies.  He touched many hearts.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 16, 2022 between 1 pm – 2 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Memorial services will be held Thursday, June 16, 2022 at 2 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel.
