Adell Gregory was born October 27, 1931, to Albert Haynes and Cora (Tucker) Haynes. She was the fourth of nine children at Co-op in McCreary County KY. Her family moved to Wayne County in 1949. She was united in marriage to Aught Gregory October 05, 1951.

To this union was born ten (10) children Shirley (Bill) Cutrer, Linda (Roger) Kidd, Beulah Gregory, Bobby Gregory, Wayne Gregory, Roy (Sherri) Gregory, Steve (Anne) Gregory, Jimmy (Barbara) Gregory, Brenda (Tim) Silvers, and Elaine Susie (Adrian) Bell. She is survived by her sister Millie Harmon, thirteen (13) grandchildren, eleven (11) great grandchildren, numerous nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband (Aught), her daughter (Shirley Cutrer), grandson (Joshua Paul Gregory). daughter-in-law (Anne), brothers (Lawrence, Parker. and Nathan Haynes), and sisters (Magola Hines, Mayola Tucker, Lucy Coffey, Juanita Raynor).

She was saved as a young girl at Yamacraw Baptist Church. She was a member of the Concord Baptist Church for many years. She departed this life January 22, 2023, to join her Lord Jesus Christ and her loved ones in heaven.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 26, 2023, between 5 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Friday, January 27, 2023, at 11 am at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to: Gideon Memorial Bible Plan or Hospice of Lake Cumberland
