Those of us at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home realize that with the holiday season comes also the poignant memories of lost loved ones, and the feelings of pain and loss left by their passing. We believe that our service to our families never ends and that a part of our service to our families is our Annual Christmas Service of Remembrance.
Our Tree of Remembrance has been set up in the foyer of our funeral home and was decorated with special ornaments commemorating those who have passed on, bearing the names of all those we have provided services for this past year. These ornaments were presented to a representative of each family at the conclusion of the service.
This event was held Saturday, December 6th, at 2:00 p.m. at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home. Our guest speaker this year was Bro. Koger Ramsey. This service was designed to celebrate and memorialize the lives of those who have departed this walk of life for the next.
For those families who were unable to attend, you may stop by the funeral home to pick up your loved one's ornament during office hours, Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm.
